Frequently Asked Questions

Where do your courses take place?

Our courses are primarily based in the Camden / Campbelltown and Bankstown regions as well as holiday clinics around the Sydney metropolitan area.

What services do you offer?

Our services are many and varied. Our objective is to offer training options that satisfy the needs of our players.
Whether it be general skills, strength and conditioning, tackle technique or speed and agility, there is something for all ages, abilities and gender.
Our courses are capped so participants aren't lost in the session, and we also offer one-on-one or small group sessions.

Do you coach club teams?

Yes, our Academy does coach both junior and senior club teams. Previously, we have coached at the Budgewoi Bulldogs, Canley Vale Kookas, Mt Annan Knights, Picton Magpies, Oran Park Chargers, Glenmore Park Brumbies, Emu Plains, Bankstown Bulls, East Campbelltown, The Oaks and Narellan Jets.

Do you sponsor junior league clubs?

We currently sponsor the Narellan Jets JRFC and are always open to sponsoring more. Get in touch to see how Apex RLA can help your junior Rugby League club.

How do I register my child for a course?

Visit our home page to view all available programs. Select your chosen course and follow the payment link to complete your registration. Approximately one week prior to the commencement of the program, you will receive an online form to provide all required participant details.

Can parents stay and watch the sessions?

Parents and carers are welcome to observe sessions from an appropriate distance. To maintain a focused, high-quality training environment, we ask that sideline interaction is kept to a minimum. Drop-off and pick-up are also welcome—please ensure timely collection and that all contact details provided are current, so we can deliver the best possible experience for every athlete.

Do the coaches have a current Working With Children clearance?

Yes. All Apex Rugby League Academy coaches hold a current Working With Children Check clearance and meet all relevant child safety and compliance requirements.

What happens in the event of wet weather?

While we always aim to proceed with scheduled training, the safety of our participants is our highest priority. If the field is closed by Council, the session will be rescheduled to a later date. In all other circumstances, a final assessment will be made two hours prior to the session. Should a session be postponed, all updates will be communicated via our official social media platforms.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 10 days prior to the commencement of the program will receive a full refund, processed via the original payment method. Cancellations made between 5 and 10 days prior to the program will be eligible for a 75% refund.

For cancellations made less than 5 days before the program begins, Apex Rugby League Academy will use its best endeavours to fill the vacated place. If the place is filled, a credit will be issued to be used toward another Apex Rugby League Academy program. If the place cannot be filled, no refund or credit will be provided.

If a booking is cancelled due to prolonged medical reasons, a credit will be issued upon receipt of a valid medical certificate; refunds will not be provided in this circumstance.

Refunds will not be provided for partial attendance of any program. In exceptional circumstances, Apex Rugby League Academy may offer an alternative session or a credit at its discretion.
